CARL Lis, chairman of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, will be performing a different type of wizardry as he take on the role of Merlin in Ingleton Theatre Group’s Camelot, by Ben Crocker.
The annual pantomime is a massive community effort with more than 100 people in roles involving not only acting and chorus dancing but also lighting, sound, special effects, props, set construction, scene painting, stage crew, choreography, costumes, hair and make-up, as well as front of house and ticket sales.
The group’s 34th production will take place at Ingleborough Community Centre, Ingleton, at 7.30pm from Wednesday, February 26 to Friday; and at 6pm on Saturday, February 29. Tickets are £6 for adults, and £4 for children. Telephone 015242 4170.
