KEIGHLEY have made their fourth swoop into the transfer market since the start of the year with the re-signing of Raees Hussain from Cowling.

Hussain has spent most of his junior and senior cricketing career at Keighley but decided on pastures new last season to go to Cowling for first team cricket.

Now that he has this additional experience under his belt, he wanted to come back to the Lawkholme Laners and push for the first team, who compete in the All Rounder Bradford Premier League at Championship level.

Hussain who is still only 17, is both a top order batsman and leg spinner, who has captained various Keighley junior sides to league victories.

He has also represented the Upper Airedale and Bradford Leagues at district level and epitomises the thriving Keighley junior set up and their plans of bringing their own juniors through the ranks to represent the town's club at senior level.

The re-signing of teenager Hussain means he joins the Bradford League's all time record run-scorer, Richard Robinson, as a new signing for Keighley in 2020, as well as fellow recruits Hasnehn "Haz" Haider and Sam Massheder.

With two months to go before the start of the new season, Keighley hope to build on their good transfer work so far with at least two more signings, as they build a squad not only to compete at Championship level but also to improve on last season's eighth place.
