THE COUNTRY Harvest in Ingleton donated £503 to the Alzheimer’s Society – just from its collection tins.
The business on the A65 in Ingleton spent last year fundraising for the charity, including a sponsored walk of the Yorkshire Three Peaks.
Owner Mike Clark said: “We have been fundraising for the past 12 months and have raised thousands; the money from the collection tins is the last part of that. We would like to thank all of our customers for their support and generosity in 2029.”
Sue Swire, the charity’s area community fundraiser, said: “We are extremely grateful to Mike and all the staff and customers for their wonderful support. As a charity, we rely on the generosity of others to help us support people and fund research.”
