A FUNDRAISING appeal to support six-year-old Skipton boy Luke Mortimer and his family has so far raised more than £113,000.
The youngster, who played rugby with Skipton RFC along with his brother, was struck down with bacterial meningitis before Christmas and had to go through partial amputation of his limbs.
A JustGiving page was set up and wellwishers have rushed to help.
A number of events have taken place and are planned for this weekend, including a charity rugby match at Sandylands followed by a disco and a black tie dinner at Rendezvous on February 29.
