MINI cab drivers with Aireside & Pinnacle Taxis, based in Crosshills, are taking additional precautions to help stop the spread of coronavirus through the use of hand sanitisers.
Nicholas Wearmouth, manager of Aireside Taxis said: “All our drivers come into contact with multiple people of all ages some of which are vulnerable.
“With the recent news of the expectation by the government and health specialists of the coronavirus potentially spreading further around the UK and after a review of our risk assessments we have made the decision to further boost our hygiene practices and to ensure all our drivers are now provided with hand sanitisers at all times which they will use after every contact point made throughout their working day.”
