THE NIGHT Café have rescheduled their spring tour for September with dates in cities including Leeds.

The “brooding but dazzlingly catchy” band release new single Addicted to make up for the postponement

The Line of Best Fit said the band were packed with perfect indie ingredients while DIY magazine said their big, bright pop placed them “firmly alongside the new generation they’re biting at the heels of”.

The tour will be the Liverpool outfit’s biggest, building on the success of 2019’s “accomplished and forward-thinking” debut release EP 0151.

A spokesman said: “The album is without a doubt the perfect encapsulation of The Night Café’s development as a band, embracing the nuances that drew fans to them in the first place, whilst also bringing deeper, darker elements into play.”

The Night Café play Leeds University Stylus on September 27, and the Albert Hall in Manchester on September 20.
