THE biggest and brightest full 'pink' moon of the year rose over the skies of Craven on Tuesday, giving those willing and able to get out into their gardens in the early hours, the best chance to view a supermoon in 2020.
For those who missed it, there was another chance to see it on Wednesday night - both nights were clear, and views were splendid.
The supermoon, or a perigean full moon, occurs when the full moon is at its closest point to Earth in its monthly orbit.
This picture was taken by Sara Spillett, from her garden in Kettlewell.
