Letter: Well done Craven Cassette
I THINK 'Local Hero' status should be conferred on Richard and Jane Breare, chairman and president respectively of Craven Cassette talking newspaper who, throughout the difficult lockdown time have manfully been doing all the production of Craven Cassette between them.
Under normal conditions the work is shared out between a team of four or so, but these have been barred from meeting together. Not wanting to disappoint the 100 or so weekly listeners, Richard and Jane have stepped into the breach. For the VE Day Special edition of The Craven Herald, the recording was enhanced by the addition of songs from that time - "We'll meet again" and the like. A great effort!
