THERMAL imaging cameras were used by police and firefighters to search for a teenager who climbed on to a roof at Airedale Hospital.
Emergency services were called soon before 11.30pm last night after the man accessed the roof, and hospital staff who had been with him were concerned about his safety.
Police immediately attended, and asked the Fire Service to help and summon the police helicopter to try to locate the man.
A spokesman for Keighley Fire Station said: "We searched the roof with a thermal imaging camera and searched nearby bushes and the grounds. When the police helicopter scanned with its thermal camera we searched further afield."
The man was not found, and police continued to make enquiries wit his and friends throughout the early hours to try and find him.
