A BEAUTY salon owner has reached the finals for three national award categories in the British Hair and Beauty Awards aimed at highlighting excellence within the industry.
Helen Turnock, of Velvet Beauty, in Otley Street, Skipton has been shortlisted in Waxing Expert of the Year, Skin Specialist of the Year and Beauty Therapist of the Year. in the competition.
She said: “I have worked hard over the nine years in my business to help my clients reach their skin and waxing goals and I’ve loved every minute of it, seeing the confidence and buzz this gives them.”
Helen has previously been a finalist twice and won Beauty Therapist of the Year in her industry.
The British Hair and Beauty Awards, established in 2014, recognises those who make a real difference and encouraging their development and hard work throughout the year. Thousands of therapists enter from across the UK, The winners s will be announced online on Monday, June 29.
