AN appeal for witnesses has been made after a cyclist suffered serious injuries in Ingleton at the weekend.
The incident occurred at about 11am on Saturday, June 20, when a cyclist was riding down the B6255 Back Gate towards the A65.
Police say he came off his bike and suffered serious head injuries.
The cyclist, a man in his 40s, was treated at the scene by ambulance staff before being taken to Royal Preston Hospital.
He was riding a black Dolan bicycle and wearing a blue cycling top.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, or was travelling in the area around 11am and has relevant dashcam footage, is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police. Please dial 101, and quote reference NYP-20062020-0180.
