NINE-year-old whippet, Lily, has proved she can rock a pair of shades after winning a competition organised by watch and sunglasses specialists, Tic Watches.
The company asked for pictures of pets wearing sunglasses and Lily, whose owner Claire Burke, lives in Skipton, ran off with the first prize, bagging Claire a Tommy Hilfiger timepiece worth up to £300.
Claire said: “Lily loves getting out and about in the Yorkshire sunshine, as you can see from the joy in her face. She’s a wonderful dog and totally deserves her recognition. We’re thrilled to win.”
Tic Watches said it ran the competition during June and 130 people had forwarded pics of their pets.
