WHAT a delight it now is to drive along the Skipton bypass.
The Craven district 'hygienic cleansers' have been out in force and I counted only three pieces of litter between the Grassington and Gargrave roundabouts and six pieces between the Gargrave and Keighley roundabout.
It has been litter free for several weeks which makes me think the hygienic cleansing team have been out every week collecting the odd pieces carelessly thrown or blown off the back of a lorry.
Every woman knows you have to keep on top of grot and the more that is left, the more will accumulate.
It takes quite a brave, moronic person to throw litter on to a pristine highway and the weekly run around by the team will get easier and easier.
