FOOD industry training company Verner Wheelock, based at Broughton Hall, has launched its own ‘basic food safety and hygiene for manufacturing’ online course which it is offering free of charge for a limited period.
Aimed at those in entry level positions throughout food manufacturing, the course’s video-based modular format gives trainees the flexibility to complete the training in their own time and at their own pace.
The course content is equivalent to Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene.
Managing director, Alison Wheelock, said: “We had initially intended this course for internal use, as a refresher for delegates on our Food Safety and HACCP courses, but we soon realised that there is nothing quite like it in terms of online training.”
