A LARGE-scale cannabis grow has been discovered in a house in South Craven.
North Yorkshire Police has launched an investigation after a grow was discovered at an abandoned house at Cross Hills.
Officers were alerted to the location on Park Road at 10.44pm on Thursday, July 9.
A spokesman for the police sale: "A significant amount of cannabis and cultivating equipment was seized by specialist search officers.
"Crime scene investigators also attended the property and a search of CCTV in the area is ongoing.
"A group of men in a white van were seen near the building and they were thought to be acting suspiciously.
"Police enquiries are continuing to identify suspects involved in the cannabis grow.
"Anyone with information that could assist the investigation is asked to call North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 1, and speak to the Force Control Room.
"Or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
