A HOUSEBUILDER has teamed-up with a wildlife charity.
Harron Homes, whose developments include The Banks at Silsden, is working with Butterfly Conservation.
The company’s new schemes will follow planting and landscaping guidance designed to encourage butterflies and other wildlife.
And it is encouraging its customers and social media followers to take part in the charity’s Big Butterfly Count.
“We’re delighted to be working with Butterfly Conservation,” said Kelly Booth, sales director with Harron Homes Yorkshire.
“Respecting the environment in and around our developments is important to us and we wanted to be able to demonstrate that we are serious about building conscientiously. The brilliant advice from Butterfly Conservation will really help to ensure our future developments are habitats for wildlife like butterflies.
“We’re especially pleased to be working with the organisation during this year’s Big Butterfly Count. and would encourage people to take part.”
