GET those brollies at the ready as the county is under weather warnings of thunder, lightning and rain for much of the week.
The Met Office has issued yellow warnings for thunderstorms from midnight tonight (Monday) to midnight on Thursday. Some places may see hail mixed in as the weather front sweeps in from the east and northeast.
The relatively light winds forecast over the next few days suggest the storms could be slow-moving and persistent, with risks of flooding where they hit.
Temperatures are due to remain warm, however, with a high of 27 degrees celcius on Tuesday with an overnight low of 17 degrees.
Make the most of today as the rain is due to come in to the Skipton area from around 11pm and remain unsettled until at least the weekend.
