POLICE are warning of another scam circulating on social media and are advising people not to respond or send money.
A spokesman said: "We have had multiple reports of an email scam claiming to be HM Courts and Tribunal Service and serving individuals with a penalty charge notice related to their vehicle.
"This is a scam. Do not click any of the links in the email and delete it immediately. North Yorkshire Police will never email you without making contact through another means, eg post first.
"If you have clicked any of the links or made a payment call 101 to report this to the police."
