WORK by a Silsden man features in a new book which is raising money for charity.
David Driver – a writer, poet and broadcaster from the town – appears alongside a raft of famous names in Viral Verses, Art in Exceptional Times.
Other contributors include Dame Margaret Drabble, Milly Johnson, Ralph McTell, Mike Harding and Ian McMillan.
Mr Driver said: “I was invited to contribute to the book by the writer, journalist, poet, songwriter and singer, Heath Common. I am absolutely thrilled and honoured to be in print alongside such well-respected people.”
The book, which is published next week, contains around 120 poems capturing the mood and emotions of recent months.
It retails at £14.99 and all profits are going to the NHS Charities Together Covid-19 Appeal.
