FOR a trip down memory lane, here are some great images of the old Keighley Baths. Who remembers going for a swim here? Or enjoying one of the inflatable disco sessions? Keighley Baths and Wash-houses, in its heyday, was considered a first-class swimming pool.
At its peak, the facilities included a large and small swimming bath, two Turkish baths, sun-ray and radiant heat departments, 28 slipper baths and a public wash-house.
In winter, the larger pool was converted into a ballroom.
The baths closed in 1989 and were finally demolished in 1995.
