Mars advert from the Craven Herald, 1945
'MARS are marvellous' said the advertisement for everyone's favourite chocolate bar back in September, 1945.
This advert, which concentrated on the healthy aspects of the 'mars bar' with 'chunks of sheer delicious goodness' was just one of a series of ads that appeared in the paper for Mars some 75 years ago.
