AN ARTICULATED lorry left the B6255 near Ingleton last night went through a dry stone wall and came to rest in a field.
The driver, who suffered neck and chest injuries and was taken to hospital, had to be released from the vehicle by firefighters using small tools, immediate emergency care (IEC), lighting and an triple extension ladder.
Emergency services, North Yorkshire Police, and fire crews from Bentham, Settle and Ripon attended the collision which happened at 11.45pm yesterday (Monday).
Traffic Inspector Paul Cording tweeted at 7am this morning 'recovery is well underway'.
