A CLIMBING wall set to open in Ulverston is only accepting experienced climbers to help reduce Covid-19 transmission.
The Wall, based in Quebec Street, has announced it is 'taking a cautious approach' ahead of its opening next month.
The climbing wall announced on its social media that it will only be accepting experienced climbers or children and novices climbing with an experienced climber.
The facility will also be running at a reduced capacity, ensuring that there are no more than 16 people in at any time. This has meant the centre has introduced a booking system, with each climber designated a slot of two hours.
A spokesman for The Wall said: "We apologise to all excited novices who want to start climbing at The Wall and ask for your patience as we will work hard to have a system in place for you in the near future.
