KEIGHLEY full-back Ellie Kildunne did not take long to make her mark again playing international 15s rugby, scoring the opening try for England as they sealed the Six Nations Grand Slam by beating Italy 54-0 in Parma.

The ball was fed out wide to her on the right in the fourth minute, and after a couple of lovely sidesteps, she crashed over to score.

That opened the floodgates, and the Red Roses went on to score another seven tries after that, sealing the Grand Slam in style, their second in a row.

Kildunne had been playing international Sevens rugby for the last couple of years, and had not featured in the 2020 Six Nations before the coronavirus pandemic struck the country in March.

But with the Sevens programme cancelled for now, Kildunne was brought back into the 15s side after a long absence, and showed she still poses a real threat in this form of the game.

Kildunne joined Wasps ahead of this season, scoring an excellent long-range try on her debut against Harlequins.
