Picture of the Week

THIS week’s Picture of the Week of a rainbow over Ilkley was taken by Philip Robins, of Addingham, who said: “Taken on Sunday, 22 November it shows a very striking rainbow over Hadfield Farm, just north of the A65, at the western end of Ilkley. Autumn has been a season of sunshine and showers, as it was on Sunday, which creates the chance to see many rainbows. Shortly after mid-day dark clouds were edging in from the N.W. and the rain that they would bring had already caught the sun and created this rainbow with its intense colours.”
