ORGANISERS of the award winning Yorkshire Dales Food and Drink Festival, held between Skipton and Broughton, have announced the event will take place in 2021.

The two day event, which last year was named Welcome to Yorkshire’s Tourism Event of the Year, and was cancelled this year because of the coronavirus pandemic, will take place at Heslaker Farm in the last weekend in July next year, and will see the return of celebrity chef, James Martin and the ‘Hairy Bikers’, Si King and Dave Myers.

Organisers say the event will be adapted to ensure it complies with Government coronavirus safety advice at the time, but are promising a ‘feast of entertainment’.

The event will showcases the best of regional food and drink from artisan producers to award winning brands and products.

There will also be a vintage funfair, live local music acts, free workshops ensure the whole family are kept thoroughly entertained.

Rachael Higgins, marketing director, at organisers, Events By B3, said: “After what has been a truly awful year for so many, I am so excited to finally have tickets on sale for 2021.

“Obviously, we will continue to adapt our event plans in line with the latest government advice, but we are confident that we can put in place the relevant measures to ensure a safe festival next summer.

“Our event is an absolute bargain, with a ticket for a weekend of camping for a family of five costing less than £136, making it the perfect Christmas gift to get all the family together in 2021.”
