YORKSHIRE Water has opened applications for graduate roles in five areas of business: data science, operations, strategy and regulation, commercial and science.
The scheme allows recent university graduates to join the business on a two-year development programme. In the first year, graduates experience four placements in different areas of the business, then choose a specialism and role to complete their final year. After the initial two years the graduates are supported with finding a permanent role.
Placements involve shadowing team members in their day-to-day role on operational or office sites, contributing to regulatory deadlines, or working on business-critical projects.
Amin Daji, graduate and apprentice recruitment officer at Yorkshire Water said: “We’re looking for people that have a motivation to learn and an enthusiasm to work within the water industry.”
