THIS picture of icicles hanging from the roof of Stainforth Tunnel, on the Settle-Carlisle line has been tweeted by Network Rail.
Network Rail Lancashire and Cumbria, which looks after and maintain the railway in parts of North Yorkshire, as well as Lancashire and Cumbria, tweeted earlier today: "We’re going to run a snowplough through the area as an icebreaker before the icicles get any bigger."
