THE latest coronavirus statistics for Pendle show that the number of new cases continues to fall.
In the last seven days, up to today (Thursday), there were 196 new cases, a reduction of more than 100 from last week's figure of 327.
Once again, the age group where most new cases have occurred is the 30 to 39 year olds.
Pendle Council says while lockdown appears to be working, people are still dying from the virus within 28 days of testing positive.
It is urging people to keep following the lockdown restrictions, stay safe rules and advice to help the council continue to reduce the spread of Covid-19.
