CRAVEN electors are being offered to apply for postal voting in the upcoming local, and police, fire and crime commissioner elections.
A vote will be taking place on Thursday, May 6 for a Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for North Yorkshire and North Yorkshire County Council and Craven District Council elections are also currently scheduled to be held.
Additional measures are planned at polling stations to ensure people will be able to vote safely in person. Voters and polling staff will be required to wear face coverings, hand sanitiser will be available and polling staff will be carrying out regular cleaning of all surfaces. Voters may also use their own pen or pencil.
In addition, anyone can apply to vote by post, and no reason is necessary.
