THERE has been a huge emergency response this morning to a crash on the A65 in Addingham. Police, paramedics, firefighters and the air ambulance were called to the scene.

Police were called at 8.10am to reports of a serious road traffic collision.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Road closures are in place on the A65 at the junction with Main Street and motorists are advised to avoid the area.

"Enquiries are ongoing."

There are reports on social media of a lorry, which is on its side, and four cars being involved in the crash.
