AN independent Nisa retailer is growing its business investing in a second store which is located in Grassington.

Colin Graves has taken on new premises in Grassington and alongside manager Stacey Brookes, has ambitious plans to develop the store into a thriving local business on a par with the well-established Dales Market Corner in Pateley Bridge.

Trading as The Dales Market Square, the former Spar/Budgens store in Grassington’s High Street is now trading with an improvement plan underway.

The new store will be operated on a day to day basis by Stacey Brookes who said: “We will be embarking on a development programme over the coming weeks and months and the new store will gradually change to improve the shopping experience as well as provide shoppers with more competitive prices.

“We will be offering our customers a full range of Co-op own-brand products.”
