SETTLE-based Freda’s Playgroup and Pre-School is on the move.
The facility recently had plans passed for a purpose-built nursery and pre-school, close to its present site in the Old Middle School building
Formerly known as Marshfield Playgroup it has been providing child care to the local community for over 50 years. The new premises will come with a 50-year lease.
Trustees, staff and parents are busy fund raising to reach the £200,000 price of the new build. So far just over £35,000 has been raised. Fundraising efforts have been severely hampered by coronavirus meaning many doors have been closed to them.
