A GROUP of teenage friends is scaling new heights to raise money for charity.
Thomas Beever, Mitchell Hardaker, Oliver Grundy, Feargus Mansell, Harley Debny-Succoia and Jonathan Day are tackling the Yorkshire Three Peaks.
The pals – who are all in their late teens and from the Silsden and South Craven area – are coining-in cash for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, in tribute to the "amazing" support it has given to one of the group's family members.
They are taking on the gruelling 24-mile route – which includes the summits of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough – on April 17.

Thomas' mum, Amanda, whose father has motor neurone disease, says: "I’m extremely proud that Thomas and his friends are wanting to do something to make a difference. Seeing first-hand what the disease does is heartbreaking. The charity is a cause very close to our hearts."
