THE customer services reception at Craven District Council, Belle Vue Square in Skipton along with tourist information centres are due to re-open on Monday (April 12) with coronavirus restrictions in place.

The reception at the council offices, Broughton Road, will be open from 9am to 5pm on Monday to Thursday, and from 9am to 4.30pm on Fridays. There will be a one-way system in place through the reception, with disabled access still available.

Only three people will be allowed in at one time, and social distancing and hand sanitiser stations will be in place. Face masks must also be worn by customers in reception unless they are exempt.

Skipton information and visitor centre, on Coach Street, will also reopen on Monday, from Monday to Saturday, 9.30am to 4pm.

Visitor numbers will be restricted to one visitor, couple or family in the shop at a time. Covid-secure measures include counter screens, social distancing, hand sanitiser, and visitors will be required to wear masks unless they are exempt.

Settle Tourist Information Centre will also reopen on Monday; on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 9.30am to 1pm.

The swimming pool and gym at Craven Leisure,Aireville Park, Skipton, will also be open from Monday, in line with Government guidelines. Swimming and gym sessions can be booked online up to three days in advance at www.cravendc.gov.uk/craven-leisure/book-activities-online
