SUTTON-in-Craven resident Viola Stinson has celebrated her 100th birthday.
A celebration of the milestone was limited and she was accompanied by just some of her close family and friends who were within her support ‘bubble’.
Son-in-law Bryan Jarvis, who lives in the south of the country, said Vi offered her deepest thanks for all the lovely greetings sent to her from those who were unable to help her mark the occasion in person due to the current Covid restrictions.
Friends, family and acquaintances sent flowers, gifts, greetings cards and letters. She was also able to speak to wellwishers on the phone.
Vi was proud to receive a congratulatory card and message from the Queen who, in recent days, marked her 95th birthday.
