LONG PRESTON friends Kerry Forster and Kelly Armitage have set themselves a task of walking 100 miles in May for the mental health charity MIND.
Their first walk was Penyghent on Saturday. On Sunday the pair held a cake stall after spending hours baking the cakes themselves. This gave their fundraising a massive kick start by raising over £500. Other walks they have pencilled in are Ingleborough, Whernside and Pendle Hill. If you would like to donate, you can find the just giving fund raising page at: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/kelandkezwalk100miles and also follow their progress. Orders for cakes are also being taken throughout the month.
