MEMBERS of the Royal British Legion Skipton Branch attended a ceremony in Holy Trinity, Skipton, on Saturday to mark the 76th anniversary of WW11 Victory in Europe

The Service was conducted by the Revd Canon Dr James Theodosius assisted by Reader, Roger Lowans.

In line with the current Covid regulations the Service was socially distanced with a only a few attendees.

Also present were 3 Standard Bearers and Bugler.

Following the ceremony a Poppy Wreath was laid on the Cenotaph by the President and Chairman of the Royal British Legion, Skipton Branch.

As a matter of interest the Royal British Legion marks the 100th Anniversary of its founding this month.
