THE Clapham based Cave Rescue Organisation (CRO) was called out yesterday (Sunday) afternoon after a 61 year old woman fell on her way down from Penyghent.
The woman was reported to have broken her ankle on the path heading towards Hull Pot, near its junction with the old Yorkshire Three Peaks route.
A CRO spokesperson said: "As team members responded, the ambulance service advised that an air ambulance had collected the patient and was flying her down to meet the road ambulance on Horton Playing Field. The team was stood down."
