Police have been alerted to a 'suspicious' delivery driver in a red van in North Craven
CONCERNED residents around Hellifield and Long Preston have contacted North Yorkshire Police in the past week about a driver in a red delivery van acting suspiciously in the area.
On social media there have been reports of someone matching this description looking through property windows and trying car doors.
A police spokeswoman said a a number of people have been concerned about the occupant of the can also showing an interest in their dogs.
She said: "Although no dog thefts were reported, it is better to be vigilant and on your guard."
