VISITORS to Grassington will be able to enjoy original works of art over two weekends beginning on Saturday, June 5.
Nine artists will be taking part in the art trail with their work displayed at seven different venues in the village.
There will be a broad range of subject matter and genres with artists including Rob Keep, Phil Fraser, Val Emerson, Carine Brosse and Ruth Shepherd.
There will also be contemporary ceramics by David Ashby and textured, ‘moor inspired’, wheel-thrown ceramics by Emmeline Butler on show, as well as glassware and jewellery by Katie Denby and bronze and rusted steel sculptures by Mark Butler.
Most of the artists would in normal times have been taking place in the annual North Yorkshire Open Studios event, which has been cancelled for the last two years. The event in Grassington can take place following a relaxation in coronavirus restrictions.
The art trail will run on Saturday and Sunday, and also on Saturday, June 12 and Sunday, June 13.
