I note the NHS message on page 21 of last week's Craven Herald (June 3). "Having friends round? Let the fresh air in too". It suggests it is safer if the windows are kept open, because Covid particles are "blown away".

The message may have been improved by suggesting that doors/windows around the house are opened, so as to create a through-draught...move the particles on quicker.
