MANORLANDS Hospice is to benefit from the Gateways Music Festival which is taking place in Skipton over August 6, 7 and 8.

Festival organisers have partnered with the hospice and announced that all proceeds from the event parking will be going directly to the Sue Ryder charity based in Oxenhope.

Hospice volunteers will be managing the festival car parks, which are located at Skipton Auction Mart, Craven College, Skipton Academy and Sandylands field.

The cost to park is £5 per vehicle per day and all proceeds will go to support the hospice’s vital work in the community.

Festival Director Eddie Elliott-Smith, said: “We’re so grateful to the local businesses and organisations that have come forward to let the use of their land for parking. The support to Gateways and Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice has been amazing.
