WALK-in Covid vaccination clinics for both first or second jabs will be running in Silsden and in Keighley on Saturday and Sunday as part of the ‘big vaccination weekend’.

Anyone over 18 years old will be able to receive jabs at the pop up clinics at the Silsden Medical Practice, Elliot Street, Silsden; and at the Emily Street Community Rooms in Keighley.

The clinics will be open from 9am to 5pm, and people will be offered both the Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccinations. Second vaccinations will be available to those who received a first Pfizer jab more than three weeks ago, and for those who received a AstraZeneca jab more than four weeks ago.

Although operated by the Modality Partnership of medical practices, anyone - not just patients of the health group - can go along.

A spokesperson for the Modality Partnership said they would be ‘pulling out all the stops’ to get as many people as possible vaccinated.

“Anyone over 18 years old is welcome, we would ask people to remember to wear sunscreen, bring water and to wear a hat, or carry an umbrella.”
