BRADFORD Dragons 3, of the Leeds League are looking to add quality and strengthen their squad this summer.

League

Dragons 3 is a friendly and welcoming team and invites any seniors regardless of experience and ability, with an interest in Basketball, to join them.

The club was formed in the summer of 2001, in response to demand from a number of year 11 (under 16’s) boys at Beckfoot School, who wanted to play competitive Basketball.

Initially, this small group of players trained together at the school, starting to play friendly matches against similar aged teams from across the West Yorkshire district.

The club has a strict policy that includes their safeguarding policies in order to protect those who are vulnerable and how each player, staff and volunteer are meant to conduct themselves when the either play or work for Bradford Dragons.

In addition to the clubs scheduled youth training sessions, they also run an extensive coaching programme into local schools and the wider community in order to encourage more young people into playing Basketball. The club are currently looking into the possibility of relaunching our women’s program, whilst also seeking to introduce their first ever wheelchair team.

Bradford Dragons 3 Basketball Club trains at Holy Family School, Spring Gardens Lane, Keighley, West Yorkshire, BD20 6LH, on Tuesday evenings from 8.00 to 10.00pm.

COVID protocols are in place for a safe training environment.
