COVERS band The Assembly, made up of members who started playing together while still students at South Craven School, will be playing a fund raising gig on October 9 for Kidney Cancer UK and Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice. The band will be playing at Keighley’s Studio 5 Live on Chesham Street with the event starting at 7:30 and the band expected to play at around 9pm.

“We’re very proud to be supporting these causes”, said the band. “One of our members has been bravely living with terminal cancer now for some time and has also very recently lost another family member to the disease. We’ll be doing our best to make this a very special night and we’d love to have your support in helping us raise as much as possible. “Studio 5 Live has been very supportive. Entry is a minimum donation of £7.50 payable on the door.”
