A SCARECROW competition at Tarn House Holiday Park revealed some talented residents in its midst with a lot of effort going into making some outstanding creations.

The park had a tough time choosing a winner but decided the worthy first prize would go to Joy Good and David Elliott for their incredible entry - Wallace and Gromit and the curse of the Tarn Rabbit.

The second and third prizes were equally difficult to separate but in the end the judges decided the second prize would go to Stuart and Amanda Lister with their creation of Worzel Gummidge and Aunt Sally, while the third prize went to Jason the site foreman.

The competition helped raise money for the Macmillan charity and the efforts of all those involved helped swell the charity’s coffers by almost £50.
