PINSUTI, the Ilkley and Skipton Chamber Choir is delighted to be starting rehearsals again in the Friends Meeting house in Ilkley on Wednesday, September 15.

The choir will be taking additional precautions (ventilation, a break in the middle, recommended testing prior to rehearsals) to make singing together as safe as possible.

A spokesperson said: "Pinsuti sing a range of music from early 14th century through to the present day. We generally sing unaccompanied, though sometimes with organ or small orchestra. Our first concert will be in Skipton on 13th November, with a remembrance theme. We will be singing many of our favourites: Parry’s songs of Farewell, Lux Aeterna by Lauridsen and a range of music stretching from Purcell through Faure to Whittacre.

"We are currently recruiting singers in all voices. We are looking for confident singers who can read music, and are comfortable holding a part on their own or in small numbers. We rehearse in Ilkley on Wednesday evenings - do get in touch if you are interested in joining us at info@pinsuti.org.uk. Why not come and try us out!"
