STAFF from Keighley housing group Incommunities have been out and about over the summer offering help to jobseekers.
The employment hub team – working with Bradford Council – has attended a variety of events across the district providing free advice and support, on everything from compiling CVs and searching for jobs to interview techniques.
Events ranged from family fun days to a literature festival.
There were more than 40 Summer of Fun activities.
Incommunities employability manager Julie Stanworth said: “We were delighted to be invited to attend all Summer of Fun events to promote the opportunities we can offer as part of the employment hub.
“Team members spoke to over 400 people and have received more than 120 referrals.
“We have also been able to connect with key partners across the district and we hope to work with them to promote employment hub services going forward.”
