IT WAS an afternoon to forget for Bingley Town, who were outclassed by AFC Barnoldswick First in the Craven League Premier Division on Saturday.

The visitors could not stop hat-tricks from Callum Thomas and Wissam Badri, or a brace from the prolific Callum Uttley, as they fell to a 9-1 defeat.

Trawden Celtic put six past unbeaten Carleton Sports, thanks to doubles from Jake Bancroft and Callum Whitfield, whilst substitute Ben Brown ensured Cowling First were on the right side of a five-goal thriller against Crosshills First.

Division One leaders AFC Crossleys First retained their 100% record with a 7-1 thrashing of Addingham First, with Kaylum Moran Payne and top-scorer Lewis Oldridge netting two goals apiece.

Trawden Celtic Juniors Reserves remain second after doubles from Dan Conway and Dan Pinder saw them beat iPlay First 5-1, whilst two-second half goals helped Silsden Whitestar Reserves to a 3-1 victory at Ingleton First.

Elsewhere, Grassington United Reserves recorded their first point of the season with a 2-2 draw against Salts 3rds.

Baildon Trinity Athletic First’s match at home to Chatburn First was postponed.

Bradley First claimed their first win of the Division Two season in style, with hat-tricks from Ben Metcalfe and substitute Andrew Tanner seeing them to an 8-3 victory at home to struggling Otley 3rds.

Jack Kennedy, Matt Grist, and Scott Russell were all on target as Sutton First edged out Hellifield Sports 3-2, whilst Khurram Zulfi came off the bench to help Grindleton First beat Skipton Town Reserves by the same scoreline.

The matches between Crosshills Reserves and Barnoldswick Barons and Padiham FC Juniors and Cowling Reserves were cancelled.

In Division Three, Daniel Paton was in imperious form, scoring eight as Rolls Reserves maintained their unbeaten start with an 11-2 demolition of Addingham Reserves.

FC Keighley United Open Age were also on song as they cruised to a 6-1 win at Cononley Sports Club, whilst two goals from substitute Will Sampson saw Otley Town 4ths to a 3-1 victory at home to iPlay 2nds.
